Hadoop Installation On Windows Xp

In trying to save my old 160 GB IDE HDD, I plugged the IDE controller back into the MOBO, booted to the WHS 2011 disk, loaded the controller drivers, then deleted the partitions. I then started the new installation of WHS 2011. It ran all the way through to completion and then restarted my machine. When booting back up, the machine started to load and showed me this screen: It would look like it's loading for a few seconds then it would restart my machine. From there, it would bring up the following screen: When choosing Start Windows Normally, it takes me to the same loading bar above for WHS and then restarts the computer.
